While Sakura pursues her medical studies, Naruto joins Hinata, Shino, and Kiba in an expedition to find the extremely rare Bikoshu Beetle that might be able to track down Sasuke--no one in the Hidden Leaf Village has any clue as to where he's gone. In these episodes, Orochimaru may remind viewers of Naraku in Inu-Yasha: an evil mastermind who seems less threatening that he should because he uses subordinates to fight the heroes, rather than engaging them himself.
